Den letzten Mountainbike-Weltcup der Saison 2023 über die olympische Distanz hatten sich die beiden Radsportler aus Reudern und Weilheim wohl auch ein bisschen anders vorgestellt. Doch letztlich zeigten sich beide zufrieden mit den Ergebnissen, vor allem in Anbetracht der Umstände: Ein Sturmtief war übers Wochenende über den Osten Kanadas hinweggezogen und hatte die traditionsreiche Weltcup-Strecke in Mont Sainte Anne an den Hängen hoch über dem St.-Lorenz-Strom nördlich von Quebec City schmierig und teils unfahrbar gemacht. Viele Stürze und Defekte waren die Folge. Oft war schieben die sicherere Variante, manchmal ging es gar nicht anders. „Ich bin eigentlich solide durchgekommen“, bilanzierte Schwarzbauer. Zwar kam ihm die Kälte nach dem Temperatursturz entgegen, die Strecke aber nicht: „Die Strecke bevorzugte leichtere Fahrer.“ Lange Zeit lag er auf Rang 7, doch am Ende des Rennens und damit der Saison verließen ihn die Kräfte: „Ich hatte sicher nicht mehr die beste Form“, musste der Student nach dem Rennen einräumen. „Aber ein Top-Ten-Ergebnis ist es allemal.“ Es genügte auch, um den vierten Platz in der Gesamtwertung zu halten. „Neun Mal stand ich in diesem Jahr insgesamt auf dem Weltcup-Podium, ich habe den Shorttrack-Weltcup gewonnen: In dieser Disziplin bin ich der Beste der Welt.“ Auch in der Weltrangliste, in die alle Ergebnisse der vergangenen zwölf Monate eingehen, belegt Schwarzbauer als mit Abstand bester Deutscher derzeit den vierten Platz.
Bereits am Freitagabend hatte sich Schwarzbauer zum Weltcup-Gesamtsieger im Shorttrack gekrönt. Ihm genügte in dem schnellen und kurzen Rennen ein siebter Platz, um seinen ärgsten Konkurrenten Jordan Sarrou (Frankreich) auf Abstand zu halten: „Ich hatte es ja schon in Snowshoe vor einer Woche in der Hand, mir vorzeitig den Gesamtsieg zu sicher. doch dann bin ich auf den allerletzten Metern noch weggerutscht. Entsprechend hoch war der Druck heute.“ Deswegen habe er oftmals lieber ein bisschen zurückgesteckt, wenn es eng wurde, statt um jeden Meter zu kämpfen. „Ich wollte jedem Defekt- und Sturzrisiko so weit wie möglich aus dem Weg gehen.“ Schließlich hatte er bei der Weltmeisterschaft in Schottland erlebt, wie schnell ein Traum von einer Medaille ausgeträumt sein kann, als ihn Olympiasieger und der spätere Cross-Country-Weltmeister Tom Pidcock (Großbritannien) vom Rad holte. Pidcock feierte am Sonntag in Mont Sainte Anne seinen zweiten Weltcup-Tagessieg der Saison. Der Gesamtsieg in der olympischen Kategorie ging zum neunten Mal an den mittlerweile 37-jährigen Schweizer Nino Schurter.
Bei den Frauen ging die Trophäe an die erst 21-jährige Niederländerin Puck Pieterse. Die Europameisterin hatte sich zu Beginn der Saison dauerhaft von der U23-Altersklasse in die Elite hochstufen lassen, um nicht nur im Weltcup, sondern auch bei den internationalen Meisterschaften in der höchsten Kategorie antreten zu dürfen.
Für Kira Böhm besteht diese Wahlmöglichkeit nicht – nicht einmal für den Weltcup 2024, der voraussichtlich im April 2024 in Brasilien starten soll, einen offiziellen Kalender gibt es allerdings noch nicht. Denn diese Wahlmöglichkeit haben nur die jeweils fünf besten Weltcup-Fahrer/-innen der U23-kategorie. Böhm schloss den Weltcup 2023 aber als Gesamt-Zwölfte ab – und zeigte sich mit diesem Ergebnis durchaus zufrieden: Schließlich war die 20-Jährige krankheitsbedingt bei einem Shorttrack- und zwei Rennen über die olympische Distanz gar nicht am Start gewesen. „Bei den anderen Rennen war ich sehr konstant unterwegs.“ Das schlechteste Rennen der Saison war allerdings dieses letzte vor der Winterpause: „Ich kam heute mit dem Matsch gar nicht zurecht“, sagte Böhm nach ihrem Rennen in Mont Sainte Anne, das sie als 17. und mit 7:57 Minuten Rückstand auf die Tagessiegerin beendete. „Ich hatte mich schon an dem Shorttrack [am Donnerstagabend] nicht mehr so fit gefühlt. Aber ich habe alles gegeben.“ Ihren ersten Tagessieg holte sich im frankophonen Teil Kanadas die Schweizerin Ronja Blöchlinger. Blöchlinger war bereits als U23-Weltcup-Führende ins Saisonfinale gestartet und sicherte sich so in ihrem letzten U23-Jahr auch den Gesamtweltcup.
Die Zukunft der Rennserie um den Schwarzwälder MTB-Cup war Gegenstand eines Kontaktgespräches von Vertretern der beiden Radsport-Landesverbände mit den ausrichtenden Vereinen und der betreuenden Agentur Pro-cyCL im Rathaus von Freudenstadt. Den Schwerpunkt der Besprechung bildeten Fragen zur Organisation und Finanzierung der MTB-Rennen für die Altersklassen U9 bis U19 mit derzeit zehn ausrichtenden Vereinen aus beiden Landesverbänden. Der SMC präsentiert sich dabei als Rennserie mit sehr hohen Qualitätsstandards, welche den gestiegenen Ansprüchen seitens der Teilnehmenden, deren Eltern und der Öffentlichkeit gerecht wird. Mit Blick auf das kommende Sportjahr ist es allen Beteiligten wichtig, dass die ausrichtenden Vereine ihre Renntage kostendeckend durchführen können, was unter anderem durch eine Anpassung der Startgelder erreicht werden soll. An die beiden zuständigen Vizepräsidenten Michael Holzwarth, BRV und Sven Krauss, WRSV wurde der Wunsch gerichtet, zukünftig auf Seiten der Verbände eine gemeinsame, verlässliche Ansprechperson zu haben. Zeitnah sollen nun Terminkalender und Generalausschreibung entworfen werden, damit bei der baden-württembergischen Ausrichtertagung am 09.12.2023 die Eckdaten für 2024 festgestellt werden können.

Pilotprojekt der MTB Kommission für die Altersklasse U 15 und älter (Nur für Mädchen)
Liebe Radsportgemeinde,
wir vom WRSV wollen ab November 2021 für Mädchen der AK U 15 und älter (ab U 17 sind keine Kadersportlerinnen erlaubt, diese erhalten separate Angebote) Veranstaltungen anbieten um uns gemeinsam mit viel Spaß für die Saison 2022 vorzubereiten.
Die Vorbereitungen laufen bereits auf Hochtouren.
Aufgrund der Art des Trainings sind höchsten 10 Teilnehmerinnen zugelassen.
Also schnell sein lohnt sich.
Was wird geboten:
- Kerstin Kögler von der DIMB hat uns bereits eine Zusage erteilt
- Wir werden vereinsübergreifende Trainings anbieten
- Wir gehen nach Öschelbronn auf die Bahn
- Usw.
Was kommen für Kosten auf Euch/Eltern zu: Wir werden versuchen die Kosten so gering wie möglich zu halten. Ein kleiner Eigenanteil wird erhoben werden welchen wir vorab kommunizieren.

Sieben U19-Sportler/innen der Radsport Baden-Württemberg gGmbH standen im Aufgebot der BDR-Nationalmannschaft – einer sorgte für einen außergewöhnlichen Erfolg: Lennart Krayer sicherte sich das begehrte Regenbogen-Trikot vor dem Schweizer Janis Baumann und dem Franzosen Luca Martin.
JUNIOREN
Lennart Krayer (RSG Mannheim/Lexware Mountainbike Team), der seit Anfang September am Bundesstützpunkt Freiburg im Sportinternat wohnt, kam auf der schwierigen, aufgeweichten Strecke im Bikepark Leogang am besten zurecht und konnte durch eine kluge Renneinteilung alle 81 Teilnehmer der U19-Konkurrenz hinter sich lassen.
Ebenfalls ein starkes Rennen fuhr Ben Schweizer (TuS Obermünstertal/STOP&GO Marderabwehr-MTB Team) in seinem ersten U19-Jahr. Trotz Zeitverlust durch Schaltwerkprobleme erreichte er mit Platz 19 ein Top20 Resultat. Louis Krauss (TSV Neckartenzlingen/Lexware Mountainbike Team) belegte Rang 41, Stephan Mayer (SC Hausach/Team Tekfor Schmidt BikeShop) wurde 57.
JUNIORINNEN
Die zweite Medaille für das deutsche Team holte Luisa Daubermann (VC Lechhausen) mit Platz 2 im Juniorinnenrennen. Aus baden-württembergischer Sicht überzeugten die Leistungen von Kaya Pfau (Ski+Bike Team Laichingen/Stevens Schubert Racing Team) auf Rang 7, Finnja Lipp (SG Rheinfelden/Team Orbea Serpentine Velosport) auf Rang 12 und Alexa Fuchs (SV Reudern/Stevens MTB Racing Team) auf Platz 27.
Von Leogang geht es nun weiter nach Monte Tamaro/CH im Tessin, wo vom 15. – 18. Oktober 2020 die Europameisterschaft stattfinden wird.

Am 20. September 2020 traten im «Hexenwald Trailpark» in Kirchzarten über 300 Sportler/innen zum
Rennen des Schwarzwälder Mountainbike Cups an. Im Rahmen dieses Wettkampfs wurden gleichzeitig die
Landesmeister/innen der olympischen Disziplin Cross Country in den Altersklassen U17 bis Elite ermittelt.
Aufgrund der aktuellen Coronabestimmungen konnten keine Zuschauer und nur ein begrenztes Kontingent
an Betreuern zugelassen werden. Dennoch war bei allen Beteiligten die Freude darüber zu spüren, dass
nach langer Zeit wieder Mountainbike-Wettkämpfe in Baden-Württemberg stattfinden können

Aufgrund der besonderen Bedingungen fand kein XCO Wettkampf statt, sondern
Ein Dreidisziplinenwettkampf. Der bestand aus einem Zeitfahren, Slalom und einem
Technikparcour.

mit einem recht schwierigen Wetter mussten die BmXer in Rock Hill kämpfen. Wetterbedingter Rennabbruch nach den Vorläufen, unterbrochene Trainingszeiten und Dauerregen…
Eine bisher eher selten erreichte Leistung wurde trotzdem überboten. Gleich 3 Fahrer in der Klasse Elite Men konnten sich für das 1/4 Finale qualifizieren.
Philip Schaub der knapp 150 Tage nach einer Bandscheiben-OP in Tulsa startete und einen 4ten Platz belegte, musste zwischenzeitlich zurück nach D um seiner Rehabilitation nachzugehen. Umso bemerkenswerter ist seine Leistung gewesen
Julian Schmidt und Stefan Heil kämpften hervorragend und brachten wertvolle UCI Punkte mit nach Hause. Eine stolze Leistung der deutschen Nationalmannschaft
Alina Beck nach einem missglückten Start und furioser Aufholjagd dominierte Alina den 1/4 Final Lauf als erste und konnte sich somit für das Halbfinale qualifizieren.
Im Finale sicherte sie sich in der Klasse Junior Women den 5ten Platz
bereits beim letzten Eurolauf in Benatky(CZ) vor der WM dominierte Toni Skrzypek mit Abstand sein Rennen. Die Hoffnung war groß für eine gute Platzierung bei den @2024bmxworlds. Umso größer ist die Freude dass er in seiner Klasse U23 Men einen 5ten Platz belegte
in einer besonders hartumkämpften Klasse Boys15 erreichte Emil Brosz den 5ten Platz!

den ersten Platz von dem doch noch recht jungen Vater und Ex-Elitefahrer Maik Baier
sowie die Seniorfahrerin Kerstin Meyer, die in ihrer Klasse mit deutlich jüngeren Fahrerinnen in der Klasse Cruiser einen 6ten Platz einfuhr
Am vorletzten Wochenende fanden die BMX Bundesliga-Läufe 3 und 4 im hessischen Weiterstadt statt.
Am Samstag waren 39, am Sonntag 37 Fahrer aus 8 Baden-Württemberger Vereinen am Start. Die für die meisten relativ kurze Anfahrt hatte die Zahl der Fahrer im Verlag zu Leopoldshöhe deutlich erhöht.
Das Wetter war perfekt, die Bahn optimal präpariert und so konnten wiederum spannende, schnelle und ereignisreiche Rennen gezeigt werden. Und auch an diesem Wochenende konnten die baden-württembergischen Fahrer*innen Ihre Qualitäten zeigen – sie waren mit 24 Podestplätzen über 2 Tage wiederum sehr erfolgreich!

Mit einem etwas holprigen Start gingen am Wochenende 295 Starter bei dem ersten Bundesliga-Wochenende in Leopoldshöhe an den Start.
26 Fahrer aus 7 Baden-Württemberger Vereinen gingen an den Start und fuhren trotz extrem wechselhaftem Aprilwetter tolle und spannende Rennen. Am Ende hat Baden-Württemberg kräftig abgeräumt – die Fahrer*innen errangen über die zwei Renntage 15 Podestplätze!

- souverän gewinnt N. Kiemann (Niederlande) Runde 5 und 6 in Tulsa.
- Stefan Heil (deutscher Meister), Julian Schmidt und Philip Schaub (deutscher Meister sowie Vizeweltmeister im Pumptrack) werden von Bundestrainer Lars Ludewig in die USA zur BMX Weltmeisterschaft in Rock Hill (USA) begleitet und gehen in Tulsa beim World Cup 5&6 an den Start.
- Philip Schaub startet seinen ersten Worldcup-Wettkampf, nur rund 150 Tage nach seiner Bandscheiben-OP.
-eine beachtliche Leistung von Philip. Es zeugt von großer Disziplin, Motivation und Willenskraft so schnell nach einer OP an einem Weltcup-Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. In seiner Klasse Elite Man gewann er den 4ten Platz im Finale. Das erfordert einen enormen Trainingsaufwand und die Fähigkeit, Rückschläge und Schmerzen zu überwinden.

Erfolgreiches Wochenende beim European Cup in Ravels (Belgien). Stefan Heil konnte den fünften Lauf gewinnen. Kay Stindl kam im Finale auf den siebten Platz. Sonntags erreichten Marco Jäckel und Kay Stindl die Plätze sieben und acht.
Alina Beck gewann das Rennen in der Altersklasse U17.
Pia Dudenhöfer siegte in ihrer Alterklasse an beiden Renntagen. Platz 3 im Finale der Challenge Klasse errang Luca Dudenhöfer. Alina Beck fuhr auf Platz 2 im Finale.

12. Januar 2019: Sei dabei wenn du BMX Trainer bist und auf unserem Stuttgart Bmx Supercross Track Training geben willst!
Egal welchen Stand du hast mit Lizenz oder noch in Ausbildung, du bist eingeladen. Um 10:00 Uhr starten wir am Olympiastützpunkt Stuttgart mit der Theorie bist 11:30 Uhr.
Danach gehts um 12:00 Uhr auf den Stuttgart Bmx Supercross Track in die Praxis.
Was genau erwartet Dich? Aktuelle Informationen aus dem bereits etablierten Trainerrat. Wie siehts in Deiner Region mit Trainern aus. Welche Ausbildungen gibt es? Kann ich meine Lizenz auffrischen und wie wichtig ist das? Wie interessant ist die OPENSession auf dem Stuttgart Bmx Supercross Track?

Drei Deutsche Meistertitel in den Königsdisziplinen aus der BMX Kaderschmiede Stuttgart.
Nachwuchsarbeit trägt Früchte. Fahrer hochmotiviert auf die neue SX Strecke in Stuttgart Münster
Am vergangenen Wochenende wurde in Weiterstadt (Darmstadt/Hessen) die Deutsche BMX Meisterschaft ausgetragen. 31 Fahrer des BMX Landeskaders Baden Württemberg waren am Start.
In der höchsten Klasse „Elite Men“ holte sich Jonas Balbach, unter dem dröhnenden Jubel der Zuschauer, bei einem an Spannung nicht zu toppenden Rennen, den Titel.
Stefan Heil stand ebenfalls im Finale der acht schnellsten BMX Fahrer aus Deutschland. Er verpasste ganz knapp das Siegerpodest und wurde 4.
Das Publikum hatte sich noch kaum erholt von einem atemberaubenden Finale, bei dem Aaron Beck dominierte.
Der BMX Akrobat Aron Beck ist als einziger Fahrer die Proline komplett durchgesprungen und wurde „Deutscher Meister Junior Men“, was von den Stuttgarter Fans nicht weniger angefeuert wurde.
Im Württemberger Shimano „Fan- und Fahrerlager“ herrschte schon Jubelstimmung. Pascal Brenzel konnte nach sehr erfolgreichen Euroläufen und einem 5. Platz bei der BMX Weltmeisterschaft in Baku seiner Favoritenrolle gerecht werden und wurde „Deutscher Meister Jugend“. Insgesamt standen vier Kaderfahrer aus Stuttgart im Finale, der Klasse mit einem der höchsten Starterzahlen. Maximilian Ziegler wurde 3, gefolgt von Jakob Dannemann (4.) und Toni Skrzypek (5.) Jann Deiniger und Guy Wernert, ebenfalls aus Stuttgart stürzten im Halbfinale und verpassten den (eigentlich verdienten) Einzug ins Finale.
In der Schülerklasse boys 14/15 verpasste Lucas Mues ganz knapp den Titel, er wurde Vizemeister.
Ein weiterer Podestplatz wurde an Leonie Schuster vergeben. Sie wurde 2. in der Klasse „Elite Women“
Drei Deutsche Meistertitel und insgesamt 10 Finalteilnehmer zeugen von der hohen Qualität der BMX Kaderarbeit am OSP Stuttgart.
Radakrobaten, kühne Sprünge, dazu atemberaubende, spannende Rennen zogen Zuschauer und Fans in den Bann.
Die Stimmung stieg mit jedem Rennen und fand in den einzigartigen Finalläufen um den Titel ihren Höhepunkt.
