„Emu ist nun in der Weltspitze angekommen. Ein schönes Gefühl, dass es wieder ein ehemaliger WRSV-Rennfahrer gepackt hat“, freut sich Alt-Landestrainer Hartmut Täumler, bei dem der Ravensburger Emanuel Emu Buchmann (KJC) einen Teil seines Radsportweges zurückgelegt hat.
Täumler hält Emus Weg durch den WRSV-Nachwuchs fest (Buchmann begann 2007 als Jugendfahrer beim KJC Ravensburg mit dem Lizenzsport):
Ohne Junioren und Juniorinnen, dafür mit den vier Jugendfahrern Nick Bangert (RSG Heilbronn), Scott- Neo Otto (RU 1913 Wangen), Tillman Sarnowski (RSV Frisch-Auf Öschelbronn) und Lennard Sternsdorff (RSV Stuttgart-Vaihingen), sowie zwei Jugendfahrerinnen mit Hanna Höfer (RSG Zollern-Alb) und Isabell Kämpfert (RV Stuttgardia Stuttgart) reisten die WRSV-Trainer und Betreuer zum ersten Tag der Deutschen Bahnmeisterschaft nach Berlin. In der Elite sind mit Franziska Brauße (WNT-ROTOR Pro Cycling/RSV Öschelbronn/TSV Betzingen), Laura Süßemilch (Health Mate – Cyclelive/RSC Biberach) und Marc Jurczyk (Team Erdgas/RSG Böblingen) ehemalige WRSV-Kader-Fahrer/innen vertreten. Nie im WRSV-Nachwuchs, sondern als ehemalige Triathletin Quereinsteigerin im Profisport ist Tanja Erath, die 2017 das Casting der Zwift-Academy gewann und sich einen Profivertrag bei Canyon SRAM ergatterte. Geführt wird sie beim BDR allerdings in Dortmund.

„Das war schon richtig gut, wie er am letzten Tag der Valromey-Tour ins Trikot fuhr und auch beim Zeitfahren war er gut (Zweitplatzierter-Redaktion), das kann er auch“, lobt erfreut Alt-WRSV-Landestrainer Hartmut Täumler seinen ehemaligen Schützling Georg Steinhauser, den er vor drei/vier Jahren kurz vor dem Ruhestand noch im WRSV-Jugend-Kader unter seine Fittiche genommen hatte. Eine gewisse Zielstrebigkeit sei damals schon zu sehen gewesen.
EM-Medaillenregen für die Bahnsportlerinnen aus Schwaben in Gent, Sieg bei der Valromey-Tour, Sprinttrikot und Siege für ehemalige WRSV-Nachwuchsfahrer bei der Österreich-Rundfahrt, schöne Premiere der HEUER-Cup-KritChallenge – weitere Etappen beim BaWü-Schüler- sowie dem Interstuhl-Cup, am ersten Ruhetag der Tour de France kann sich der Ravensburger Buchmann auf dem fünften Platz nach der ersten Woche ausruhen: eben Radsport vom Feinsten in der 28.Woche des Jahres.
Vollgestopftes Rennprogramm am Sonntag, 7.Juli bei den Radsporttagen in Auenstein/Ilsfeld. Bundesliga, DM-Berg, HEUER-Cup. Die Ergebnisse überschluegnsich. Der Ergebniskataglog ist prall gefüllt. Podestplatzierungen für U19 m/w durch Steinhauser und Mayrhofer. Das HEUER-Cup-Duo von Team Belle Stahlbau Tenbruck/Fischer samt Amateur Joel Kühl hielten sich frisch und zeigten eine souveräne Leistung im schweißtreibenden Weinberggelände.
Justin Bellinger (RSC Biberach) zeigte bei der Südpfalztour 2019 eine starke Leistung und dominierte die Schüler U15 Klasse. Team eins und zwei der WRSV-Schüler/innen präsentierten sich in bester Rennlaune. Pascal Ackermann ehrte die Sieger am Schlusstag in Roschbach.
Mit der Ausbeute zweier Landesmeisterschaftstitel und etlicher Podestplatzierungen kehrten die WRSV-Nachwuchssportler/innen von der Bahn-Ba-Wü in Mannheim zurück, die am Samstag bei guten Wetterbedingungen in Mannheim stattfand. Gleichzeitig wurde der BaWü-Schülercup der Sparkassenversicherung 2019 um eine Etappe bereichert (siehe die dazugehörige Webside Ba Wü-Schüler-Cup der Sparkassenversicherung 2019).Auf der LVM-Tagesordnung standen pro Klasse die drei Disziplinen Scratch, Ausscheidungsfahren und Punktefahren.
Spannende Rennen, würdige Sieger /Siegerin und feinster Amateurradsport lieferte die Jubiläumsausgabe des „Volksbanken - und Raiffeisenbanken-Cup“, kurz V-R-Cup, vom 19.-22.Juni 2019 im Zollern-Alb-Kreis. Zum 25.Mal stand der Nachfolger der "Zollern-Eyach-Rundfahrt" und der legendären "FIAT-Württemberg-Rundfahrt" in den Startlöchern und ist heute das einzige lupenreine Amateuretappenrennen in Deutschland - diesmal mit der Auftakt-Etappe in Trillfingen, gefolgt von den Etappen in Ostdorf, Erlaheim und Onstmettingen. Bei den Frauen siegte mit der Badenerin Jasmin Rebmann, Team Belle Stahlbau, die Top-Favoritin. Den Gesamtsieg der Senioren 4 ließ sich Dauerbrenner Uli Rottler vom RC Villingen nicht nehmen. Stefan Steiner, Team Drinkuth-ABUS, sicherte sich die Gesamtwertung der Senioren 3. Markus Westhäuser, BIKE-o-RADO Racing Team, triumphierte in der Senioren 2-Klasse. Wegen Unwetters und dadurch abgebrochenem Rennens in Onstmettingen verfügten die Elite/Amateure nur über drei gewertete Etappen. Bester Amateurfahrer war damit Denis Bojarkin, Team Embrace the World, während Marcel Fischer,Team Belle Stahlbau/Team Whyl, als Gesamtsieger seiner Favoritenstellung in der Klasse der Elite/Amateure nach den drei gewerteten Etappen gerecht und ganz oben auf dem Podest gefeiert wurde.
Zweimal Gold und einmal Silber – Titel und Vize gingen bei den Deutschen Meisterschaften am Berg (und Nachwuchs) in Linden und bei der Drei-Länder-Meisterschaft der U23 in Gippingen/Leuggern/CH an Fahrer und eine Fahrerin aus Württemberg. So holte sich die U15-Schülerin Hanna Geiser (RSC Biberach) den Deutschen Meistertitel über 22 Kilometer aus einem fünfzigköpfigen Feld heraus. Der gebürtige Allgäuer und Wahlpfälzer Simon Nuber, (bis U19 einschließlich bei RU Wangen und im WRSV-Nachwuchskader) sicherte sich überraschend und knapp im Sprint den Titel des Deutschen Bergmeisters in Linden, und Johannes Adamietz (früher SSV Ulm-und WRSV-Kaderfahrer) wurde in der Schweiz zum Vizemeister der U23-Klasse gekürt.
Bei einer kleinen Feierstunde in der Volksbank Hohenzollern-Balingen ließ Ulrich Bock, Vorsitzender des Radsportbezirks Schwarzwald-Zollern und treibende Kraft an allen Ecken und Enden des hieisgen Radsports, am Dienstagabend die Geschichte des „Volksbanken - und Raiffeisenbanken-Cup“, kurz V-R-Cup, in einer interessanten Beamer-Show Revue passieren. 25 Jahre feinster Amateurradsport aus dem Schwäbischen komprimiert in einer spannenden und mit Anekdoten gespickten Dokumentation.
Die württembergischen Athleten und Athletinnen der Nachwuchsklassen mit guten Ergebnissen in einem Nachschlag zu Karbach und Ostthüringen.
21 Schülerfahrer und – Fahrerinnen der U15-Klassen folgten am vergangenen Samstag, 1.Juni 2019, dem Ruf von Talent-Scout Moritz Backofen (Fessenbach) und versammelten sich im kühlen Radstadion Öschelbronn, um sich auf die Deutsche Omnium-Meisterschaft der Schüler/innen (20.-21.07.2019 auf der Albert-Richter-Bahn in Köln) vorzubereiten. „Bei dieser Veranstaltung erlernt und festigt Ihr die Grundkenntnisse der Wettkampfdisziplinen, die unter anderem in Köln bei der Deutschen Omniums-Meisterschaft gefahren werden. Die Wettkampf-Disziplinen werden unter realen Bedingungen geübt. Zudem werden Zweierteams für die Madison-DM gebildet“, erklärte der neue Nachwuchskoordinator von WRSV und BRV vorab.
„ Der V-R-Cup wurde als Nachfolger der Zollern-Eyach-Rundfahrt und der legendären FIAT-Rundfahrt ins Leben gerufen und ist heute das einzige lupenreine Amateuretappenrennen in Deutschland“, verweist Ulrich Bock, Vorsitzender des Radsportbezirk Schwarzwald-Zollern e.V., auf das Jubiläums-Etappenrennen vom 19.-22.Juni2019 auf das Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
Fast komplett in bester Teamstärke konnten die Juniorinnen des gemeinsamen Kaders des württembergischen und des badischen Landesverbandes, „RBW-Radsport Baden-Württemberg“, das zweite Bundesligarennen der Saison, diesmal im hessischen Dautphe, in Angriff nehmen.
Die deutschen Straßenmeisterschaften der Elite 2020 werden im Großraum Stuttgart stattfinden. Stadt und Region haben vom Veranstalter bereits grünes Licht erhalten.
Acht Landesmeistertitel 2019 und etliche Silber- und Bronzemedaillen schmückten bei der diesjährigen BaWü-Straße in Münsingen, die wettermäßig an die winterliche Cross-Saison erinnerte, Sportler und Sportlerinnen aus den WRSV-Reihen.
Das „WRSV Holczer Radsport-Team“ bestritt am 1.Mai eines der größten Bundesliga-Rennen des Jahres: Die Junioren-Etappe der „Müller – Die lila Logistik Rad-Bundesliga» im Taunus wurde im Rahmen des deutschen Rad-Klassikers „Eschborn-Frankfurt“ ausgefahren.
Während Nationalfahrerin Lucy Mayrhofer (RV Radlerlust Gomaringen) in Front liegend durch Sturz-, Defekt- und Bahnschranken-Pech beim Nations-Cup-Rennen der Juniorinnen in den Niederlanden quasi aus der Bahn geworfen wurde, feierten die baden-württembergischen Jugendmädels bei der Bahnsichtung in Frankfurt/Oder Erfolge.
Mit vereinten Kräften gemeinsam stark – nach diesem Motto wurde die 45.Ausgabe des Ostermontagklassiker „Rund um Schönaich“ organisiert und ausgetragen. Neben den fleißigen Helfern aus den Reihen des - und rund um den - RSC Schönaich, traten viele weitere radsportbegeisterte Unterstützer in Aktion. Auch Mitglieder der Nachbarvereine wie des RSV Stuttgart-Vaihingen halfen mit den Klassiker durchzuziehen.
Am kommenden Freitag und Samstag (19. und 20.April 2019) findet im Radstadion Öschelbronn ein Bahnlehrgang der U15-Klassen m/w statt. Unter Leitung von Honorartrainer Holger Roth wird jeweils von 10.00 - 16.00 Uhr Technik und Taktik trainiert. Bahnräder können geliehen werden. Dazu bittet der Trainer um eine Voranmeldung unter:
